A few minutes walk from the cottages lies the Gloucester - Sharpness Canal. A peaceful haven for wildlife, narrowboats and pleasure craft, walkers and cyclists. Cycle route 41 takes you along the towpath to Slimbridge and Berkeley.
The beautiful Cotswolds are only a short 15-minute drive to the east. To the west via Gloucester or the Severn Bridge is the Royal Forest of Dean

Wildfowl and Wetland Trust at Slimbridge - 6 miles by road 11/2 miles along the canal tow path.
Westonbirt Arboretum, Berkley Castle, Regency Cheltenham, Tyndale Monument, Prinknash Abbey Woodchester Mansion, Owlpen Manor are all with easy driving distance.
Back to Frampton, mountain bicycles are available to hire from Tanhouse Farm, 50% discount on normal rates, to tour the area. We are on route 41 of the national cycle network
There are Resaurants of many kinds within driving distance but Frampton itself has two local inns - 'The Bell' and 'The Three Horseshoes' which both have restraurants.
Shops in Frampton - The Top Shop and Post Office - 1 mile, Open daily Monday - Saturday 7am - 7.30pm, Sunday 8am - 12.30am. Hairdresser open Tuesday - Saturday, Morning Newspapers available from the 'Top Shop' and 'Three Horseshoes'.
Bus Service 75yds - daily service to Gloucester. Friday service to Stroud.
